Karine Matte | Colour your life!

After several years working in the fashion and event industry, Karine has finally dived into the home decoration, her greatest passion. In 2014, she launched her blog : Matte & Glossy. 2 years later, she played it all out and finally started her own interior design company, still under the same name!

"It was such a success, I couldn't believe it. For me, it was impossible to imagine that I could get paid to do something that I love so much! That was a huge limiting belief of mine at the time but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised that everything worked out so well. "

Karine explains that her approach is to explore different colours and textures. She firmly believes colour plays a VERY important role in people's lives, especially on their mood. She decided to apply this principle in all areas of her life, including getting rid of all the black clothing in her closet. She immediately noticed a major change in the reaction of the people she met: she got many more smiles and compliments!

Considering the ambiance that Karine has created in the studio, there is no doubt that her strategy is working well! The whole team had a real crush on her, with her contagious enthusiasm and her energizing style.

Karine has known and loved Tristan for a long time, but she mentioned that she had a big crush on the Spring/Summer 2023 collection. Bright colours, different prints and textures, and the comeback of retro trend... It's almost as if this collection was created especially for her!
